There are many serving opportunities available at Unity House (2431 6th Street Troy, NY) as highlighted below:
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Our Community Resources Thanksgiving Package and Holiday Gift Programs are both happening this year, but will both run a little differently. Families that are signed up will get an appointment time to come and pick up their pre-packed items. There will be volunteers needed for both of these programs which will involve a lot of sorting, lifting, packing, and more. (Volunteers needed that are able to lift and bend.)
- ReStyle is opening soon and will be in need of some register help in consistent shift that would be one day each week for 3 or 4 hours.
- There are some administrative jobs popping up here and there which involve putting folders together, filing, and working on a possible archiving project.
Additional Needs:
- We are in need of winter coats for children and adults. We also need boots of all sizes, toiletries, diapers sizes 4, 5, & 6, and pots and pans in good condition.
- Also, we are looking for people to support our Holiday Gift Program through the purchase of gifts.
