Habitat for Humanity-Saratoga

Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren & Washington Counties is a non-profit, non-denominational housing organization. It was founded in 1991 as an affiliate for Habitat for Humanity International. They are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing, with the deep conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live in dignity and safety.

Serving Opportunities:
Spring/Summer Building Projects beginning in 2015 Commit to one or two Saturdays to work on a home building project

Showcase of Homes – This event is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity and celebrates Saratoga County’s most exceptional homes. The event features and displays the latest in building techniques and products, as well as beautiful, high-quality furnishings and fixtures from some of the area’s top suppliers and designers, as well as home tours; commit to working a shift over the course of three (3) weekends

Committee Members – Run a committee such as site selection or family selection committee; time commitment varies

Board Members Monthly meeting commitment

Fundraising Volunteers – Help organize events, solicit sponsors, collect silent auction items, etc

Lunches Prepare and deliver lunch to a building crew, typically serving approximately 20 workers
