Executive Pastor of Campuses
Pastor Justin Yim wears two hats at Grace Fellowship. He’s the the Executive Pastor of Campuses as well as the Lead Pastor at Grace Halfmoon. Justin lives in Halfmoon with his wife Melissa, and their four children, Sydney, Austin, Cooper, and Sawyer.
Born in South Korea, Justin moved to the US at the age of six. His father, a missionary church planter, moved the family to NYC where Justin lived until he left for college. Growing up in a strong Christian home, Justin found it easy to simply “go through the motions” of Christianity. It wasn’t until age 14 that he desired to move his faith from his head to his heart, and to actively follow Christ. Shortly after that, he began to feel called to full-time ministry. After attending the University of Rochester, Justin went on to become the Associate Youth, Worship, and Young Adult Pastor at Bethany Church in New Hampshire for 11 years. While serving there, he completed his masters degree from Gordon Conwell Seminary.
In 2007, Justin received a call from Pastor Rex asking if he would be interested in candidating for a pastoring job available at Grace. After prayerful consideration Justin agreed, and in October of that year was named Lead Pastor of Grace Halfmoon. Although there’s much to love about Grace Fellowship, the God-centered and biblical vision is what generates Justin’s utmost appreciation for Grace.
Get to know Justin well enough, and you’ll find that not only is he a man with a heart for God, but also one with a great sense of humor, who loves to sing, play guitar, play tennis, and cook! (You may also hear him mention the New England Patriots once or twice.) In the future, he hopes to do some traveling—specifically taking Melissa to Hawaii,—as well as spend plenty of quality time with his family.
A man that shares in the vision of Grace, Pastor Justin is prepared to continue to help expand the Body of Christ.
