We all have trouble with trusting the process at times; we wonder why certain things happen, why we meet certain people, or even why we are here on Earth.
I do it all the time.
I've been wondering why I keep meeting and dating men who don't love me, don't treat me right, or don't value me. What am I not giving myself for them to be able to give me?
So I decided to love myself because no one else would. And maybe one day become a single mum. But when I started researching single mothers, I was hurt and scared.
I was hurt and scared because of the hateful speeches about single mothers on youtube.
They don't want to commit or start a family, but when we decide to follow our own path, they start making videos about "why you shouldn't date a single mother."
I am deeply saddened and heartbroken because I sometimes wonder if I will ever be able to share my life with anyone. I see many people getting married and pregnant, but I am still a long way behind. Maybe none of this matters...even the man I'm with or without right now is keeping me around because he doesn't want to lose me but also doesn't want to commit. I'm feeling like a fool because I'm hoping he'll change when I know full well he won't. I pray to God to help me understand everything better, to heal me, and to show me that true love exists.
