Sunrise Men’s Bible Study

What better way to start your new morning, and new week, than with time in God’s Word? This is an ongoing, year-round men’s bible study. We are currently engaged in studying the First and Second Letters of Peter. We meet in a hybrid format, welcoming people into a church classroom, as well as opening a zoom meeting to join in remotely. At the end of each meeting, we pray for one anothers’ needs and continue to pray for each other throughout the week.

ACTS: The Spread of the Gospel

The book of Acts is a carefully-recorded history of the explosive spread of the gospel and the rapid growth of the church after Christ’s ascension. In one of the most tumultuous, violent and dramatic books in the entire Bible, Acts starts with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, without which the young church could never have survived the unleashing of rage and prejudice towards these radical followers of The Way.

Throughout Acts, God shows His infinite power regardless of the circumstances, just as He continues to do today. 

This is an ongoing group but anyone is welcome to jump in!

Young Adults On Mission (YAM)

YAM is a gathering of young adults (18–29) who are focused on digging into the Bible to learn about who God is and what He desires for our lives. We focus on living out the gospel in our everyday lives and helping others do the same. This semester we’ll be studying the book of Matthew.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or an addiction of any kind. Marriage Ministry: The Crazy Cycle

In this 4-part series, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs sheds light on an often overlooked, yet indispensable element of a healthy marriage-respect. Combining biblical instruction with scientific expertise, Emerson provides insight into the unique ways in which God has designed both men and women and how they can rightly embrace their differences in marriage. As couples come to see the heart behind their partner’s complaints, they will better understand the place for both love and respect between husband and wife. Rather than becoming another statistic, struggling marriages can break their Crazy Cycle and become thriving marriages by living in accordance to God’s good design.

This semester we will be going through the book Relat(able). In this study, Louie Giglio looks at relationships the way God intended them to be. Beginning with how we see ourselves, we develop a view of God and others that impacts the way we relate to our parents, navigate friendships, dating relationships and marriage. Faith Heroes

We will be studying one of the most exciting chapters of the Bible – Hebrews 11 – Heroes of the Faith. Specifically, we will look at how we, by the grace of God in Christ, can lose ourselves in obedience to His will for our good and His glory. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
