2023 Year End Giving FAQ
When is the last weekend service that will count for my 2023 year-end gift?
The last in-person Sunday services of the 2023 calendar year will be held on December 31st.
Can I drop off my donation at the church office?
Yes, donations can be dropped off at the Halfmoon and Saratoga campus offices through Thursday, December
28th and the Latham Campus office through Friday December 29th
Last day of the year Campus Office Hours:
● Latham: Friday, December 29th, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
● Halfmoon: Thursday, December 28th, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
● Saratoga: Thursday, December 28th, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
I cannot make it to the weekend service on the 31st nor can I make it to the church office by the 28th or 29th. If I date my check in December, but bring it in January, will it still count for 2023?
No. In-person donations received after December 31st, regardless of check date, do not qualify for a 2023 donation.
Can I mail my donation?
Checks can be mailed to any campus but must be postmarked by December 31st or earlier in order to qualify as a 2023 donations.
If I mail my check before December 31st, but it has a January 2024 date can that qualify for a 2023 donation?
Checks received before December 31st but postdated for after December 31st, do not qualify for a 2023 donation.
Can I donate online for my 2023 year end gift?
YES! Online giving is the easiest and best way to give. Online donations can be made on December 31st and will still qualify for the 2023 calendar year. As long as your online donation is scheduled for a date in December 2023, it will count for 2023 regardless of when it physically comes out of your bank account.
