I've been a successful volleyball coach for over 30 years, but this past year has been one of the hardest. I took a head coaching job at a new school, and the culture is unlike anything I’ve seen—athletes who don’t want to work, tear each other down, and lack cooperation. The parents have a similar mindset. I thought this was an open door from God, but now I’m questioning it.
A friend wants me to take another job, but the offer hasn’t come through—it's delayed again. I was excited, but now I feel uncertain. I really need prayer. Staying here feels overwhelming, especially with such low skill levels and a spirit of laziness that weighs everything down. I don’t want to move where I’m not wanted, even though I get along well with the A.D. and would work hard. pray for wisdom and if I decided to stay my team does a complete 180
