Hello,

Please can you pray for us that we can find the funds for my daughters christening.

I am living in the UK and my wife and adopted baby daughter are living in Indonesia.

I am intending to move to join my wife and children in about 1 year. We also have a son aged 16 years old who was also adopted. Two months ago he had to get 4 operations on his sinuses and nose. He is now recovering and much better.

However, this is a big financial strain trying to respond to the emergency.. I am working full time and trying my best to meet the needs.

But it is very challenging. I have to pay for my son’s university as well.

Last year when I visited Indonesia to join my family and attend my baby daughters christening that was arranged with the church. A few days before the minister said he had to go to a church conference and could not do the christening. He said it was Gods will. He said only that church we could do the christening. So this year my wife has booked another appointment for our daughter to be christened. Then we found out the minster took our christening money and the church said they don’t have the money. I was a bit annoyed to say the least that the minister basically stole the money. Using Gods will as the justification.

This very challenging for us as I have no more funds, and my wife is searching a means to get another $600 before by the 1st September. This will mean probably borrowing. We are praying that we can get the money before 1st September.

We are trusting praying but also stressed as the past half year has so many unexpected emergencies.

Please pray that our daughter can be christened on the 1st September.

I don’t have any means to get the money as I have already borrowed for other emergencies and paying back the loans. I cannot afford to send any money at this time.

This is a very important time for our daughter.

Please pray for a miracle to happen that the money can be obtained. Otherwise it would mean another year before she can be baptised. She is now one and half years old.

Please pray that we can accomplished. That we can be blessed financially and that we don’t lose faith as it is so very challenging.
