I have three prayer requests. 1. Please pray that I find peace and healing as I uncover childhood trauma and my fear of abandonment that I have buried for 30 years in hopes the pain would just go away. Shutting out and disowning the parent that caused this trauma did not help and only had me stuck in my past which made me subconsciously take it out on my husband. 2. Pray that the past mistakes made by my husband does not continue to make him feel hatred, bitterness, self-doubt, and resentment towards himself. Pray that he feels God's love and all his negative self-images be replaced with all the positive attributes he has. 3. Pray that though our own counseling and God's will and plan for us as a couple that our marriage will be restored and that we can go to counseling together and work together to have the marriage and relationship that God wants us to have.
