What We Believe

The Bible

The Scriptures, comprising 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

God and the Trinity

There is only one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Furthermore, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Father, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit’s ministry serves to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to convict men of sin; regenerate the believing sinner; and to indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Mankind & Sin

Mankind was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

Salvation By Grace

The blood shed by Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for salvation of all who believe. Only those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God.

The Physical Return of Christ

The personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our “blessed hope” and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

The Bodily Resurrection

There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead. The believer will be welcomed to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting, conscious punishment.

The Church

The true Church consists of all such persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is the Head.
