Hearts In Action International is a dynamic, educational, non-profit organization reaching children and youth, and training teachers and leaders around the world. HIA currently has seven active mission bases in North, Central and South America. From their offices in Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Colombia and the USA, they are creating and spreading educational programs to impact children and youth with the gospel, toward the development of the “whole” person for Christ.
HIA provides parents, schools and churches with fresh vision, tools and resources to train youth, fortify character and strengthen family values. HIA is dedicated to raising up and sending out missionaries specialized in children and youth ministry to fulfill the “Great Commission”. HIA is breaking the poverty cycle and the moral decline in communities by providing education and new job opportunities via micro businesses. Through God’s love and power, they are seeing lives, villages and nations transformed into His likeness.
In the jungles of Petén, Guatemala, we have seen first hand the amazing work that God is doing through their ministry. The Jungle School has made an immeasurable positive difference in the lives of the 300 children that attend each year. Each child is becoming a light unto the Lord.
