Tim Gardner serves as the Campus Pastor for our Halfmoon Campus.
As a pastor’s kid, Tim grew up in the church and “never wanted to be a pastor!” However, God had different plans. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry from Azusa Pacific University in California, he went on to complete his Master of Divinity at Azusa Pacific Seminary in 2012. At that time, Tim and his wife, Emily, transplanted from Southern California to Idaho, then to Pennsylvania, and have finally landed in the beautiful Capital District of New York, currently living just off of exit 12 on the Northway in Saratoga County.
Tim is passionate about seeing people find hope in Christ and encouraging disciples to live in a way that makes their kids, family, friends, and neighbors say, “Wait, you actually believe this stuff?”
In his free time, you’ll find Tim building LEGOS with his son, reading a chapter book with his daughter, or gardening and tending to their backyard chickens with his wife. As a family, they enjoy the outdoors and hope to someday hike all 46 of the Adirondack high peaks.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
